How to configure BSNL modem TPLINK
This post is for those users who wish to configure their TPLINK BSNL modem for internet. In this tutorial i will show you step by step guide to configure your BSNL modem.
Steps for BSNL modem configuration
1. First of all go to network settings, select change adapter configuration. Then select properties now double click on tcp/ip version 4. Check button obtain IP address automatically and check obtain DNS server automatically.
2. Open your browser like Internet explorer or Google Chrome. Enter url as 192.168.1.1 and press enter key. You should know the fact that for opening this page you do not need internet connection.

3. You will be asked for username and password.
default username: admin
default password: admin
This address will open the default page of your modem which show the status of the modem.
4. Click on interface setup on top of the page.
5. Now enter the following parameter as below:
VPI 0
VCI 35
Enter username and password provided from BSNL exchange.
Check PPPoE as encapsulation.
Do not change other settings.
6. Reboot your modem with current settings. Now you are connected to the internet.
How to configure TPLINK BSNL modem wifi settings
1. Click on Interface setup > Wireless
2. Check Activated on access point settings.
3. Type your wireless network name in SSID.
4. Select WPA2-PSK in authentication type.
5. Now type your wifi password in the box pre-shared key.
