ZTE Minilink NR8120D CONFIGURATION

Hello friends I am going to explain basic configuration of ZTE Minilink model NR8120 configuration for you.

LAPTOP SETTING BEFORE START OF COMMISSIONING

Select – Obtain an IP address automatically
Use LAN ip address in automatically configure ip address option.

START OF COMMISSIONING

LOGIN WEB LMT

1-      Use a LAN cable (either straight through or crossover) to connect the LMT port of NR8120D and PC

Open the Internet explorer/Google Chrome and enter IP address 192.168.1.16

1-      Enter User Name and Password.

User Name: admin

Password: admin

Now Goto setup>system>parameter

              After this, below window will appear. Fill detail for all yellow color boxes and click apply.

Device IP, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway and Network Management VLAN ID, – use DCN IP address and Management VLAN provided by Microwave Engineer.

Note: Please don’t use BTS/Node B IP addresses and VLAN.In all attached snapshot, IP mentioned are just for reference purpose only

Now goto Radio Link>Basic configuration

Below window will appear. In this window, define Bandwidth, Modulation, Power and Frequency.

 a>      RF Parameter configuration.

Configure Tx Frequency, T/R spacing and Tx power. ( T/R spacing for all 15GHz links will be 420MHz
